I am getting lazy about blogging, part of me wants to quit Instagram because I post a picture and then feel like the event is documented. But I like a story, I’ve always loved to tell stories and hear them so I’d rather read an interesting blog any day then look at pictures and sift through hashtags. So please allow me to re-cap stories I have already told and already forgot all the details in order to feel like I’m keeping up my blog.

Friday night I went to the Organ Loft, a theater build for silent movies, the organ player was the center of attention while the guts of the organ ran through out the entire place, hitting you from every angle with music.
The screen was right above him and they played two Buster Keaton films.  To step back in time and watch these films that are over 100 years old was brilliantly beautiful. I’ve decided that when I have my 9 children they will be raised on Buster Keaton, (Don’t babies love black and white images?) There was a beautiful glow of simplicity, impressed with what little resources they had and still delivered something that was captivating. Maybe it was just the theater that make the entire thing charming. The Organist has no music, he would just watch the film himself and play along.

Saturday, I went to the tulip festival, it was lovely. Mother Nature is wonderful. Mother nature being manipulated by millions of dollars is cool too.
The weather was nice, the air smelled so sweet.

Sunday Mike Doge cooked for the family, Whitney says cooking is his love language, I need a man whose love language is providing me delicious meat, that’s all I need. Whitney is so lucky.
He brought the dog, that big slobbery mess. 160 pounds and he is still more timid then our cat. Then boys and I hung out with Dad watching a Frank Sinatra documentary on HBO, if you get the change to see it take it. Rat Pack in all their glory, Frank and Elvis singing together, racist jokes towards Sammy Davis Jr, JFK, the mafia- proper music education.
