It was raining when the guys set up the bouncy house obstacle course thing, and said "That's ok, the kids will still have fun in the rain"
"Well, he is not really a kid, he is turning 30"
A kid at heart, maybe the only 30-year-old that would appreciate a blowup slide.
Thankfully the rain stopped, the hamburgers tasted so juicy, the birthday cake was devoured and the sun through the clouds made everything gold, it was a perfect night.
The poor guy was lead to believe he was going to have a laid back, lame birthday. I told a ton of lies to make things happen and everyone pulled through, a ton of friends came by and Adam couldn't have been more surprised.
It was quite perfect.
And after all the friends left the MacKay family stayed playing on the bounce thing into the night, jumping off the roof and landing on the slide.
Adam's mom with her messed up foot even got on, I was quite thrilled how everything worked out so perfectly.
He is kinda a great guy, his 30th had to be great too.

Such an amazing night. For sure my best birthday ever. McKay is amazing and wonderful. She puts on the best parties.
She IS the party :)
Lovin the MacKay smile.
