Wanting to see the rainbow.

Conference weekend.

Running charades, sleepover with a good group of friends, breakfast and Green Plant in the morning.
Working during priesthood session and loving the Mac Grill full of suits, then seeing the city blossom with lace all over it, KSL runs, spending time in the city, falling in love with the little Chilean family who stole my parking spot with their big ol' rental car trying to make it to conference, and bountiful sunsets and piano duets.

Salt Lake city at it's best.

And as for Instagram. . .
It still kills me to click over to the hashtag and be invited into all the crazy mormon homes and see them in their blanket forts, playing with legos after a big breakfast.
It really is so great, I feel so united.

But it is quickly become the new fad to immediately after a speaker says something inspiring to make it into a cut little saying with a fun lil' font and post it.
We get it, You are listening to conference! You are crafty and you are taking to heart the messages!
You are awesome.

 I can't handle it.

For example, this gram popped up maybe 3 minutes after he said it. I'm saying 3 to be nice, it was really almost immediate.
Can you not wait until the rest of the talk is over?
Are you sitting at your computer hovering over the keyboard for anything inspirational to be said?
"Oh! it's a rain quote! gotta get my rain cloud stencil! Stat!"

Come on!

So here is to the ones who just listen to the messages and spend time with family!
Here is to my cousin who made her Dad's traditional biscuits and gravy and her son learned who to armpit fart this year during conference!
Here is to whoever brought a gnome into the conference center!
Long live sunday naps and annoying big brothers!

God bless conference.

McKay, your conference Instagram recaps are one of my favorite things about conference. They're like this magical surprise after conference weekend. So thanks, and keep it up.

Also, yes: everyone was waiting anxiously liveblogging conference through quote/images.
