USANA apparently has a convention every year, a health convention? a anniversary party for USANA CEO? who knows. .
But to kick off this event they hold a free concert. This year none other then Eddie Money, Styx guitarist Tommy Shaw, Belinda Carlisle, and Kenny freaken Loggins.
Starting off laying on the blankets people watching, then it quickly moved to the dance floor, to be covered by middle aged women who could not get enough of the boys.
I don't remember much, fireworks, Asians, spandex, and Moms as far as the eye could see, and it was their night away from the kids, done up in their finest, and ready for a good time. At one point my body may have been lifted high above the crowd at the climax of the song footloose. . . maybe the happiest I've been all summer, in that moment.
Kenny Loggins, oh man, what a trip.
