Drew and Sean are very enthusiastic about architecture and history so they took Mason and I on a walking tour of Ogden, Drew's parents are from Ogden, and Sean just really likes Leslie S. Hodson, history and America showing the world that we are going to make something of ourselves.
Drew brought his book of historic postcards that featured all the buildings we saw, he held that in one hand and his massive water jug in the other.
We started at the Train station, walked over and saw the temple undergoing construction, down main street, up to Eccles house, and Elccles theater, and Eccles whatnot. . We met a man who gave us a full tour of the Episcopal Church, met the lady priest.
We walked around the neighborhoods and up to the high school.
We found an open door to the school that set off an alarm as we entered to take a look, it was a quick look as we speed-walked down the hallways.
It was a beautiful experience, and apparently houses are being sold in Ogden starting at 20,000 (according to a local). So don't be surprised when the 4 of us move in together creating a modern-day Fullhouse type situation.

The room where your friends are standing in the Ben Lomond Hotel (with the fireplace) is where my brother got married. Beautiful place.
That would be a great place to get married, it was beautiful.
