Smashing it up with Josh. . .
Canoeing to a salmon/clam chowder lunch across the lake.
A magic place to eat where only mermaid looking women work, with long hair and fair skin, mermaid decorations galore, and only female artists playing on the radio (Spice girls, metric, gaga, cheer, Imogen Heep) It was glorious and I was a sucker for it's sexist charm.
Andie took us over to the locals fishing dock.
Her picture hangs on the wall, I guess she caught a big fish. . .
Out to the todem Pole Park for a privet tour. You know what they say- Once a tour guide, always a tour guide!
Driving the largest road on the island, 36 miles, stoping at the beaches.
Staying up late at a pathetic chance of seeing the northern lights. Yet learning a lot of lessons about the tides coming in.
And every night sitting on the docks and dangling our feet of the edge and watch the cruise ships leave. They turn all the way around in the harbor and sail off, the sun sets, and we try to feed the jelly fish popcorn.
And as the other bus drivers and cross walkers and zip liners get off work they join us.
My sister is treating us like Queens.
