2pac

Across the street from our apartment is the "A street chapel"
It's tucked away in the magic of the avenues, and maybe the closest church to the downtown.

We recently discovered that around the back of the church there is a great stone fireplace, right next to the church's garden. . The church has a garden!

It is small, but the best part about it is that it is in the middle of the city yet it is so secluded, as you sit on the grass you can't see any streets, or any apartment windows.

Tonight we went over and made a little fire.

As Drew pulled up the the church we discovered that he had twinkly lights, tea candles, tea plates, along with other 'goodies' to decorate, in his trunk. It was so great. All of that, long with my Grandpa's boom box, made for a lovely night, with the cold night air, the city, the music and my rocken friends.

You can DO that? You can just find a fireplace and light a fire in it and listen to music and no one says they'll arrest you?

What a life.
