This picture had to be my first month or two in the gnome home when we all attempted break dancing.
I had no idea who these boys were, what they were capable of, or even how close their relationship was to each other, all I knew was I liked it, and like most of the kids in Logan, I just wanted more.
(Seriously this picture blows my mind and seems like it was 57 years ago.)
There is no relationship quite like Brett and Jo's, and it is very hard for one to put into words what it is like witness it.
The two of them have this high energy, and they will quote everything from movies, Arrested Development, Rhodes or even each other, they get so giggly over a stupid idea, and will bounce the idea back and forth until it is just not funny and completely ridiculous, but it thrills the both of them to make the other one laugh. They are the friendliest boys so when you are with them you have no choice but to feel like you are smashed right in the middle of the friendship they have, thinking you are their BFF. You begin to join Brett when he chants Jo's name in manipulating Jo into almost anything he wants. It is beautiful, it is inspiring and at times, it is sickening.
Recently Bret moved to San Fransisco for law school, while Jo finishes up school in Logan.
It seems sad to me to break up a good friendship like that, the two of them had been in Cache Valley all their liefs, and friends for a good portion of that time.
But one thing (among many things) that bonded the two of them was music.
SO, they, together, have started a joint music blog. It is adorable to me. Jo blogging at home, Brett out in California blogging, and together their relationship moves forward.
It is wonderful to me to see another blog success story, blogs bringing people together.
But it is not only them who are coming together but people like me who couldn't get enough Brett and Jo in my life- now can have it daily.
So Jo in Logan, Brett in California and I myself in the High lands. . are all but a click away.
and as an extra perk the two of them are sharing music, music that will twist your mind and make you want to re-evaluate your itunes play list.
So tonight I blog to the tunes of Broken Bells, tipping my hat to Brett and smiling with gratitude for this beautiful gift we have called the Internet. Blogs of any form make me so happy.
So, check out the BLOG, leave a comment, tell them I sent you.

That night... oh that night! Break Dancing has never been better than that night.
Was that the bird that died because someone rolled the window up on it's beak? Did that even happen? Poor little fella.
