Train to Bangkok

The train was nothing short of magic, we boarded it as the sun was setting and starting carting along through this amazing jungle and rice fields, it was so surreal, so captivating to just sit by the window and watch Thailand go by.

It was Andie's first train ride and she was hoping it would take us to the North pole, or Hogwarts. It felt at times we were going some place magic someplace where dinosaurs still roamed. Andie and I were a giggle fest the entire time.

The toilet, like Romania, was just an empty hole to the tracks, so great to stand and watch the railroad ties go by in the bottom of your toilet. . . we both tried it out, screaming and yelling the entire time- it was thrilling.

We sat at listened to music (miike snow's plastic jungle never sounded so good)and sketched in our sketch books, then went to the dinning car that was like a bar on wheels with neon green heart lights. . .so romantic, and had a full meal for like 3 bucks, then back to our seat that had been transformed into a bed.

And for some reason the train workers kept stopping and hovering over Andie and smiling at her, maybe cause she was drawing and they wanted to see what, but it was so funny to watch Andie react and then make fun of her.

If there was a sleeper train that took you around the world, I would never get off of it.

Also- Just a quick thank you to thoes of you who have dotanted a buck or two, today we used the extra money to get a tuk tuk instead of walk back to our hostel and it was so wonderful. Thank you so much.
